Jilles Groskamp is campaigning his IF15 in the 1/10 scale class at the ENS. Jilles explained that on Thursday, when he set the fastest time in Free Practice, he focused on the weight balance in the car, eventually moving weight forward to make it smoother in the middle of the turns. He also switched to a harder rear sway bar and found more steering, and was able to rely on his previous experience here to arrive with a shock and diff setup he has not had to change. Finally, he tried different bodyshells, settling on the latest Xtreme Aerodynamics offering, finding this to be a little more stable than the Protoform option.
Jilles uses these components in his Infinity IF15 1/10 scale car:
Bodyshell: Xtreme CZ1
Engine: OS Speed T1203
Fuel: Energy
Radio: Sanwa
Servos: Sanwa
Tires: Matrix (Handout)
Sponsors: Infinity, SMJ, Sanwa, Xtreme Aerodynamics, Matrix
