It’s now less than one month to go until the new Euro Nitro Series season gets underway!  After the Coronavirus restrictions meant we could only hold three events in total over the last two years, we are planning to return to a full four-race series this year.

Consistency in race classes

One key part for 2022 is to keep our successful racing classes the same.  So we will offer something for everyone with our class options:

  • 1/8 On Road, the fastest and most spectacular on-road racing class in the world!  World and National champions go head to head to decide the best racer and team.  And everyone can join to see how their skills compare to the most successful drivers.
  • 1/10 200mm, which always creates close racing and attracts drivers from many countries.  The ENS is a great home for this class and continues to attract strong entries and a wide range of abilities.
  • 1/8 +40 Masters, where the ‘old guys’ can prove they are still fast!  One of the most fun parts of the race weekend, we continue to see great action and exciting finishes in the Masters races.

Matrix once again our tyre supplier

We will keep working with one of the most famous and reliable brands in the industry – we’re happy to have Matrix as our official tyre supplier.  The Matrix foam tyres will be used in all three classes, with the ENS’s proven hand-out concept keeps it perfectly fair for everyone, and allows drivers of every level to know they have reliable foam on their cars!

Four amazing tracks

We will return to the four tracks which have really become established as part of the ENS now.  Starting the year in Italy at the world famous Fiorano track, a circuit which is recognised as one of the best facilities in the world.  Ettlingen in Germany is the venue for Round 2, as Germany’s premier Nitro circuit will once again see drivers fight on the unique layout.  We go back to Austria for Round 3, as Aigen is known as one of the most friendly clubs in Europe to welcome everyone.  Our season ends in the Netherlands, with Apeldoorn the perfect location for our finale at this famous circuit.

ENS expects hot competition every time

With the mix of tracks on offer, every race is unique.  We hope for strong entries in all the classes and with drivers now able to travel more freely there should be close competition for every class.  Ahead of each event, we’ll take a look at the entry lists and the previous races and publish a preview so you’ll know what to watch – whether you are at the track or following at home!

Be part of it!

Entries for our first event in Fiorano are now open.  We hope you can join us to be part of our brilliant races – please make your entry now via MyRCM and we’ll see you there!
